King Kamali and new federation!
This is what King Kamali said:
“A new organisation is being formed. They’ve contacted 15 IFBB professionals to compete in 2006 in the Tokyo Dome. Seven-hundred thousand dollar first prize, $500,000 second prize.”
In a follow-up phone call with Kamali, he reiterated that he believes the organisation is legitimate and that it is not looking to go into direct competition with the IFBB. Rather, it claims it will promote a megashow aimed at turning pro bodybuilders into celebrities in Japan.
The amount of money will generate a lot of interest! I just hope the Japs don't do anything odd to it all... There mad!
