Sott game design idea


Yes its a MSPaint job! :-).

The idea, two teams and team areas as default ruling zones.

With 3 computer rooms to hack in to on both sides: (steal each others technology?)
Easy: 1 point tech
Medium: 2 points tech
Hard: 3 points tech

Then you have to take the hologram disk back to your base bay to capture it and get your points!

Tech points could release better weapon options? or modifcations to the existing ones (too much to plan for now though!)

Or at the moment you just win when you hit 10 points?

Had a talk with Colin yesterday. He's up for it. Tentative date for LAN may be January, then regular after that...

Regarding your capture the flag idea. I reckon Quake is a bit like that when you run around trying to find the invisable armour. Once someone gets it, an audio track plays for everyone to hear, then its a matter of finding and 'killing' the person with it to get it yourself.

Perhaps the flag could work in a similar way.
